If you are located in Perth or are able to travel to Perth, we can arrange an appointment for a one on one consult. Alternatively, I can email a consult form and diet sheet that you can email, post or fax back and we can do a telephone hook up and go through things together while I email or post you out a diet and lifestyle guide tailor made to your particular needs.
Although I believe diet is important above all else in obtaining optimum health, other factors come into play. I am not against using supplementation if there is a serious imbalance to start with. I have worked on those where we have used supplementation, then healthy diet, then raw food as they were willing and able to make the change and in this way have turned around serious health issues. As well as dietary advice, I have available a herbal dispensary, homeopathics and flower essences. The solution for you will be affected by your physical and emotional state, time available, financial situation, how raw your diet is and, of course, your choice in the matter.
I have a range of therapists I can refer onto if body work or more in depth counselling, hypnotherapy or psychoactive therapy is required to budge negative patterning.

Rawfood Karen
Herbal medicine
On a rawfood diet, drop dosage may well be enough, if required at all. Otherwise, we simply start growing the plant and eat a few leaves daily or purchase the dried herb and make a tea. Again herbal extracts are in alcohol so please make it clear if this is a problem for you.
Herbal medicine was predominantly made from our weeds. Can you imagine the vitality of a plant that grows without any care whatsoever, indeed, despite every effort on our part to prevent it doing so! What stamina, what courage, what tenacity! Wouldn’t you like some of that!
I like to compare the weeds of the world with the people of the world. Those we try to eradicate, stamp out silence, uproot without a moments hesitation, actually have the most to offer. If you meditate on plants, weeds certainly have the most to say! Is it any wonder? Yet despite our treatment of them, they still offer us their healing powers, just as we still receive the wisdom of the ancients if we bother to listen. If that’s not enlightenment, then what is? Many weeds have the potential to be far more nutritious than the vegetables we struggle to grow. Are we overlooking the obvious again? Just don’t eat sprayed weeds and get yourself a good field guide like Wild Food Plants Of Australia and New Zealand By Tim Low or the work of Brigitte Mars who lived on wild edible greens for two and a half years.
A Kempo juicer, see rawfood pantry page, with it’s twin gears can extract most of the active plant constituents from your herbs and weeds. You can have these in your juice or preserve them in alcohol. You can dry your herbs or weeds and make tea all year round. Get yourself some good books, I recommend Isabell Shiphard’s Books (herbsarespecial.com.au) or Materia Medica of Western Herbs for the Southern Hemisphere by Carole Fisher and Gillian Painter. And save seeds.
